Chang Jiang River Basin Freshwater for September 1985 - 1999

Dec to Jan. experience the lowest runoff levels, though patches in the central river basin continue to receive reasonable levels of runoff. From Feb. to April the south Eastern corner of the basin has high estimates in runoff. Runoff estimates are greatest for the basin as a whole during May to Sep. with some areas experiencing intense runoff events. A lessening in runoff occurs Oct. thru Nov. especially the upper most reaches and the SE corner.
